Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Generator Technician/Mechanic and Office Staff to join our energetic team. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel and other power generation systems, including engines, electrical components, and mechanical parts. Diagnose complex electrical issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools, and equipment troubleshooting techniques. Repair and maintain generators, small engines, and mechanical systems with precision. Utilize technical schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems effectively, ensuring minimal downtime. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring client satisfaction. Manage office tasks such as scheduling service appointments, maintaining detailed records of repairs performed, and coordinating with clients or suppliers as needed. Requirements Proven experience in dealership service technician roles or similar automotive repair environments. Strong background in diesel engine repair, electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with schematics, power generation systems, engine repair procedures, welding, soldering, and small engine maintenance. Hands-on experience with heavy lifting, vehicle maintenance, electrical work, and the use of hand tools or power tools. Knowledge of Caterpillar or similar heavy machinery is a plus. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly. Customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
