Hiring temporary full time mail carrier to deliver mail and parcels in Sitka. $250 per day with vehicle and fuel provided. 30 + hours per week. 4-6 days per week. Need to be an organized, dependable, fast learner.

Qualifications:

21 years of age or older Able to work in the United States Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years No driving violations for at least 5 years (suspension, speeding tickets DUI etc.) Clean criminal history Duties include but are not limited to: Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 577 active boxes. Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle. Delivering mail along an assigned 15.5-mile line-of-travel. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Work in extreme weather conditions (cold, heat, rain etc.) Other administrative duties are required. Running second trip parcel runs depending on volume. Must abide by all USPS rules and regulations.

Pay and hours:

Paid training $250 per day Day Shift - full time - Generally, 4-6 days per week. Hours vary depending on mail volume and performance. Typical working hours between 7:30am - 4:00 pm Monday-Saturday. Possibility of long term work.
