Mail Room Assistant
Hanford, CA Direct-Hire $18.00 - $22.00/hr Onsite Job Description Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a reliable and organized Mail Room Assistant to join their client's team in California. This role involves handling all aspects of mail distribution and offers a dynamic work environment for individuals looking to contribute to the smooth operations of a busy office setting.
Responsibilities:
Sorting and distributing incoming mail to various departments and staff members efficiently.
Assisting in the preparation and dispatch of outgoing mail, including packaging and postage.
Maintaining accurate records of mail received and sent, ensuring confidentiality and security of information.
Supporting administrative tasks related to mailroom operations as required.
Operating and maintaining mailroom equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Providing exceptional customer service to internal staff regarding mailroom inquiries and requests.
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Previous experience in a mailroom or administrative role is preferred but not required.
Physical ability to lift and move mail packages as needed.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 1st shift
