Job Description
We are looking for a dependable Mail & Print Services Assistant - Level 1 to support daily onsite mailroom and print operations. This is a contract position covering a short-term leave assignment for approximately 4-5 weeks, with the possibility of extension. The person in this role will help keep deliveries, package distribution, and internal mail services organized while providing responsive service to building staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and courier shipments to maintain smooth daily mailroom operations.
- Accept deliveries from carriers and other courier providers, then sort items accurately for distribution.
- Deliver packages, mail, and related materials to designated departments or nearby buildings in a timely manner.
- Assist with print and office support tasks as needed to ensure uninterrupted workplace services.
- Communicate with employees and visitors clearly and courteously when handling shipping, pickup, and delivery questions.
- Use basic computer applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Excel, to track activity and support routine administrative tasks.
- Maintain an orderly mailroom environment and follow established procedures for receiving, handling, and distributing items.
- Support coverage needs during the contract assignment and adapt to changing daily mail and print service demands.
