Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Flexible City Carrier or Rural Carrier Associate! Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques Execute efficient route driving to ensure timely delivery of parcels across urban and rural areas Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery questions or concerns Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling of packages, especially when dealing with heavy or bulky items Maintain accurate delivery records using mobile devices and ensure all package documentation is complete and up-to-date Load and unload packages at the warehouse or distribution center as needed, utilizing manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment Requirements Must have 2 years prior driving history Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely, including moving packages of varying weights up to 70lbs using proper techniques Familiarity with route driving and adherence to traffic laws to ensure safety on every trip Comfort operating mobile devices for route navigation, package scanning, and record keeping Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication style Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (such as pallet jacks), and weight handling in the workplace is advantageous Possible career advancements Benefits Join us to become an essential part of our delivery network!
