Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Execute route driving efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries across designated neighborhoods or rural areas. Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service while delivering packages directly to their doorsteps. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update delivery statuses, and communicate with dispatch teams. Perform safe lifting practices when handling heavy or bulky items, ensuring workplace safety protocols are followed. Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required documentation for each route. Requirements Prior warehouse experience or experience in delivery driving is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 5 years as a US resident Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Comfortable with heavy lifting, moving packages, and manual handling tasks in compliance with safe lifting practices. Knowledge of traffic laws and adherence to DOT regulations for commercial vehicle operation. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience using mobile devices for route navigation and package tracking is preferred. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
