Onsite•Hartford, CT 06114 Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Room Assistant/Clerk to join our production team in Hartford. This role is responsible for preparing outgoing mail, reviewing mail pieces for accuracy and quality, identifying barcode errors, and supporting efficient machine operations. This is an onsite position and requires the ability to follow safety and operational procedures communicated in English. Key Responsibilities Prepare outgoing metered mail by verifying the correct date, postage, and barcode quality Review mail pieces for errors and identify damaged or unreadable barcodes Communicate mail quality issues and errors to appropriate team members Troubleshoot and safely remove mail piece jams from processing equipment Follow established safety, quality, and operational procedures Maintain dependable attendance and support production goals Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications / Experience Previous mail room, warehouse, production, manufacturing, or similar experience is helpful but not required Ability to understand and follow safety and operational instructions communicated in English Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in mail pieces Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with little or no advance notice when needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for approximately 80% of the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment 10354749 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
