Kissimmee / Orlando, FL (On-site Office + Local Travel)

Hourly Rate:
$20.00 - $27.00 / hour (Based on experience) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Independent Contractor to manage our localized shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations in the Kissimmee/Orlando area. This is a flexible, hybrid role combining light administrative office work with local courier drop-offs.

This position starts at roughly 4 to 8 hours per week with excellent potential for hours to scale upward as our business expands. It is ideal for an independent courier, logistics freelancer, or organized professional looking for a steady, flexible side contract.
Key Responsibilities Receive & Inspect:
Accept incoming overseas shipments at our Kissimmee office, verifying contents against packing slips and inspecting for damage.
Repack & Process:
Securely unpack, sort, and repackage items into small domestic parcels according to our quality guidelines.
Labeling:
Utilize our shipping software to print and apply domestic shipping labels accurately.
Drop-off Execution:
Securely transport processed small packages to the local FedEx facility or drop-off center in a timely manner.
Requirements Vehicle & License:
Must possess a reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting small package batches, a valid Florida driver's license, and active auto insurance.
Experience:
Prior experience in shipping/receiving, mailroom operations, retail fulfillment, or courier services is highly preferred.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable using basic computer software, printing labels, and managing digital tracking systems.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to carefully inspect international inventory and match order details without errors.
Physical Ability:
Able to lift small to medium-sized packages and stand/move for the duration of the packing shifts.
Tax Status:
Understands this is a 1099 Independent Contractor position; responsible for your own tools, vehicle expenses, and self-employment taxes. What We Offer Competitive contract rate of $20.00 - $27.00 per hour . Straightforward, repeatable workflow. Flexible scheduling that can easily fit alongside other gig-work or freelance commitments.
