Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following designated routes efficiently. Load and unload packages, ensuring accurate handling of items with heavy lifting or moving requirements. Deliver mail, parcels, and packages to residential and commercial addresses with professionalism and courtesy. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when necessary, and document delivery status accurately. Navigate route driving using GPS or maps to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws. Assist with warehouse tasks such as loading trucks, organizing shipments, and maintaining inventory records. Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns promptly. Use equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary for handling larger shipments or pallets.
