We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mailroom Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the efficient processing, sorting, and distribution of mail and packages within the organization. Your efforts will ensure timely delivery, accurate record-keeping, and smooth warehouse operations. What will you do as a Mailroom Associate Picks up and delivers mail to the post office and print jobs to outside vendors. Sorts and delivers all incoming mail, packages, and print jobs to department offices. Picks up and processes all outgoing mail, packages, and print jobs for delivery to the post office, other mail vendors, and printing vendors. Sorts and delivers all mail, packages, and print jobs Marks incoming equipment and furniture with inventory tags. Operates copy equipment and performs minor maintenance of copy equipment. Produces requested number of copies of work according to specifications submitted by instructors and staff. Prepares finish work on printed materials, including collating, cutting, binding, folding, etc. Reviews print work for high quality standards before distribution. Provides friendly and timely assistance to college employees regarding mail and print shop procedures. Qualifications A high school diploma, or equivalent. Ability to lift/move at least 50 pounds. A valid driver's license. Ability to deal with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Previous shipping/receiving/mailroom/print shop experience a plus. What hours will the Mailroom Associate work?
- 8am-4pm M-F
- 37.5 Hours A Week
- 2-3 month contract
- Onsite How much will you earn as a Mailroom Associate?
- Pay is $16.32/hr
