  • Lexington, KY Pay:
    $15/hour
  • Please note this pay rate may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying. Monday
  • Friday | 7:00 AM until work is complete Some Saturdays and overtime may be required based on workload.
Clean desk policy:
Employees are required to complete all assigned work and clear their Workstation before the end of each shift. End time may vary depending on daily mail volume and workload. About the role As a Mailroom Sorter, you will support high-volume mail and document processing operations in a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for sorting and organizing incoming mail and documents, preparing materials for processing, and routing items to the appropriate areas based on established instructions. This role requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to remain focused while performing repetitive tasks. Candidates should be comfortable working in a production environment where daily workloads may impact the length of the shift. Key duties Sort and organize incoming mail, documents, files, and other materials accurately based on established instructions Open mail and prepare documents for processing Remove staples, envelopes, paper clips, and other materials as needed Prepare and separate documents for scanning and digital processing Route mail and documents to the appropriate processing areas Maintain an organized Workstation and follow established procedures Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and quality standards Requirements We're looking for dependable, highly organized team members who can work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and productivity. To be successful in this role, you should have: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-focused environment Ability to remain focused and motivated while performing repetitive tasks Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Flexibility to work beyond the scheduled shift as needed to meet clean desk policy requirements Ability to work Saturdays as needed Ability to meet daily productivity and quality expectations Basic computer skills High school diploma or GED Ability to pass required background screening What you get Full-time employment Paid on-the-job training Health benefits for you and your family, including medical, dental, and vision, starting on day 1 Paid time off (PTO) Additional information On-the-job training typically lasts approximately 6-9 weeks Candidates must be able to commit to the assigned schedule and maintain reliable attendance and punctuality Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $26,600
