Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Rural Carrier Associate to join our team. This role involves delivering mail and packages efficiently and safely to rural and suburban areas. Duties Deliver mail, packages, and parcels along designated rural routes in a timely manner Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmission Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with recipients during deliveries Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal and team safety during route driving and physical tasks Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor Ability to operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and vehicles with manual transmission Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or load & unload procedures is a plus Physical strength for heavy lifting, moving items, and performing manual tasks throughout the day Valid driver's license with a good driving record; driver preferred Familiarity with route driving and navigation in rural or suburban areas Ability to work independently while managing time effectively Prior experience with delivery driver roles or courier services is advantageous This position is ideal for motivated individuals seeking a physically active role that combines driving, customer interaction, and logistical tasks.
