Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mail Handler, where you'll be at the forefront of efficient mail and package processing within a bustling warehouse environment. You'll play a vital part in ensuring timely delivery and accurate handling of mail and materials, supporting our commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail using manual techniques and automatic inserting machines to ensure accuracy and efficiency Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize shipments within the warehouse Manage shipment sorting, shipping & receiving tasks, and mail distribution to designated areas or customers Perform manual handling of heavy items, ensuring safe lifting techniques are followed at all times Utilize Microsoft Office tools for data entry, record keeping, filing, and maintaining organized documentation of shipments and inventory Conduct warehouse distribution activities, including organizing materials, filing documents, and supporting warehouse operations Assist with outdoor work tasks related to outdoor work experience requirements, including outdoor storage management and yard checks Qualifications Previous warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and materials handling procedures Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, automatic inserting machines, RF scanners, and other shipping & receiving tools Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling best practices Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipment quantities Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate mail processing and data entry Customer service mindset to support internal teams and external partners effectively Comfortable working outdoors when required, with good physical stamina for load & unload tasks Join us in delivering excellence through precise mail handling and efficient warehouse distribution!
