Job Description
Overview The Rural Carrier Associate plays a vital role in the efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural communities. The Rural Carrier Associate is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages to safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Drive assigned routes to deliver mail and packages to rural customers. Load and unload mail packages from the vehicle ensuring safe handling. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers. Follow safety protocols while driving and handling mail. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and maintained. Work indoors and outdoors in all weather rain, snow, cold and heat. Qualifications Valid Driver's license with a relatively clean driving record. Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely. Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
