Job Description
The Purpose of the Mail Processing Clerk is to assist in ensuring that the daily mail-room/imaging operations responsibilities are performed timely and accurately.
Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
- Proficient in data entry skills, including keyboard, mouse, and 10-key pad
- Typing speed of 30-40 wpm minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds as needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, open, prepare, and scan all physical mail
- Process electronic communications from customers
- Provides mail imaging and data entry support
- Input and verify critical information in computer programs
- Work in multiple computer programs simultaneously
- Ensure confidentiality and security of information
