In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering mail, packages, and parcels to rural and suburban areas. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles for delivery routes Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Follow route schedules precisely while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Deliver parcels directly to customers' doorsteps, ensuring accurate and complete deliveries while providing excellent customer service Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route information, and communicate with dispatch teams Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform safe lifting practices during loading and unloading activities Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation in compliance with company policies and safety regulations Skills Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving heavy lifting and manual handling Familiarity with commercial driving, including box trucks, van drivers, or manual transmission vehicles Strong knowledge of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, and safe load handling practices in accordance with DOT regulations Experience operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar devices for moving goods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach when interacting with clients during deliveries Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following workplace weight handling guidelines Competence in using mobile devices for route management and communication during daily operations Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise and commitment to service help connect communities! Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
