You'll play an important role in ensuring sterile instruments and equipment are available for use in the operating rooms. Responsibilities of the Equipment Handler Unload instrumentation and cart washers Dry and put away items as needed Restock and distribute supplies Send and receive trash carts Clean and disinfect equipment Perform decontamination procedures following specifications Operate machinery according to instructions Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications of the Equipment Handler High school diploma or equivalent Good listening and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment The Equipment Handler works Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.
