Job Description
Position Overview The Mail Center Associate will be responsible for supporting the mail room with scanning, sorting, and delivery of mail/packages to the corporate offices as well as the preparation of outbound shipments. Includes various administrative, physical, and labor-intensive tasks. A Day in the Life Utilize scanning system to ensure all inbound mail and packages are recorded, sorted and delivered to addressee Unpack and hang or re-package all sample merchandise and deliver same day to appropriate sample zone Operate outbound shipping system to send out packages within 24 hours of mail center receipt Check copiers daily for any issues and maintain print rooms with daily check and replenishment of paper and toner. Pick up and delivery of record retention boxes. Daily drop off at local post office You'll Come With High School Diploma or GED 1 year of mail center, clerical, delivery, receiving and shipping experience. Ability to read and interpret charts, tables, and shipping documentation. Experience operating postage meter equipment and mail processing systems. Ability to safely lift, carry, and move packages, office supplies, and equipment as needed. Knowledge of and commitment to safe work practices, including safe driving procedures and regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and tactfully. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to changing business needs throughout the day. Basic knowledge of recordkeeping and document management procedures. Experience using FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipping systems and related shipping software. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. A valid state driver's license is required. #LI-CG1 Come join our team. You're going to like it here!
