Hospice Aide Scheduler Vitality Hospice Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift | In-Person Join the Vitality Hospice Team! In this key role, you'll coordinate schedules for our Hospice Aides, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate care while supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinical team. Position Summary The Hospice Aide Scheduler is responsible for coordinating daily Hospice Aide visits, managing scheduling changes, and supporting clinical operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with field staff, patients, and office personnel while utilizing multiple technology platforms and healthcare software. What You'll Do Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for Hospice Aides to ensure timely patient visits. Manage same-day call-outs, schedule changes, and staffing adjustments with efficiency. Communicate with Hospice Aides, nurses, clinical leadership, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care. Monitor daily visit coverage and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts. Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, referral sources, and staff. Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Scan, organize, and maintain patient and employee documentation. Assist with office supply inventory and general administrative support. Ensure scheduling activities comply with agency policies, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Previous scheduling experience in hospice, home health, healthcare, or a medical office preferred. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and healthcare technology platforms. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating electronic medical record (EMR) systems while working across multiple computer applications simultaneously. Professional, dependable, compassionate, and customer-service oriented. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license required. Why Join Vitality Hospice?
