Support Browne Popular Culture Library (BPCL) operations by answering questions, caring for special collections materials, and supporting BPCL Faculty/Staff projects.

Sitting at the front reference desk and answering informational questions. Assisting with stacks maintenance, such as shelf reading, shifting, and moving books and items. Maintaining security of collections and following procedures for safe handling and preservation. Assisting with BPCL projects for faculty/staff to support library operations, such as scanning items, providing research assistance, assisting with displays and events, and processing archival material. General office support, such as managing recycling, light cleaning, photocopying, and getting mail and packages. Dependable and reliable to show up to assigned shifts. Must be comfortable with asking questions to understand tasks and expectations. Able to lift, move, and transport boxes up to 25 pounds with reasonable accommodations. Must be able to schedule at least 2 hour shifts and may be required to work some evenings. Must have federal work study. Please send class schedule when applying.
