We are seeking a Temporary Package Window Handler, and this role supports campus residential operations by helping manage incoming student package deliveries and ensuring efficient package distribution services. Core Responsibilities Receive and organize incoming packages from multiple delivery carriers, including Amazon, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and other providers. Sort and store packages accurately within designated pickup areas. Assist students at the package pickup counter and provide excellent customer service. Locate, process, and distribute packages to students in a timely manner. Support package tracking and inventory processes using computer-based systems. Maintain organized workspaces and ensure package storage areas remain orderly and accessible. Communicate and coordinate with Housing and other campus partners as needed. Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines. Perform additional package operations support duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
This position entails prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching, and will involve handling heavy containers of mail full of packages weighing up to the allowable maximum mailing weight of 70lbs. Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time.
You should demonstrate:
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn operational systems. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or GED required; a combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered. Prior customer service experience preferred
