Job Summary We're hiring a Warehouse Sorter to help route product through the facility as it comes in and goes out. You'll break down incoming shipments and sort each item by size, type, or destination before it moves on. Some hours are slow. Other times a delivery lands and the whole team is sorting at once to clear it before the next wave hits. You'll scan items to confirm they match the system, set aside anything damaged or mislabeled, and keep product flowing to the right lane. We often see backups form around shift changes, so staying on top of your section matters. It's a physical role, and most of the day is spent on your feet. Responsibilities Breaking down incoming shipments by size or destination Scan barcodes to confirm items match the system Setting aside damaged or mislabeled product for review Loading sorted items onto carts or pallets for the next step Keep your section of the sorting line clear and moving Restocking bins and supplies as needed Sweeping and tidying the sorting area between waves Letting a lead know when a backup starts building up Qualifications You keep track of small details, which matters when product is moving fast and a missed item causes problems later on. Good communication skills help when you need to flag a backup or ask a lead a quick question mid-shift. You're comfortable using basic scanning or computer tools once you've had a little practice with them. When things speed up and the floor gets busy, you're able to stay steady and keep working through it. Being punctual matters here, since the sorting schedule depends on the team being in place on time. You keep your area organized even on the days when the pace picks up quickly. Showing up for your scheduled shifts consistently is something the team counts on. You're willing to pick up new steps as the sorting process shifts over time.

Pay:

$24.75 - $29.81 per hour Expected hours: 34.0 - 68.0 per week
