Description:

The Part-Time Operational Support role provides essential coverage for commissary and vending operations inside the Spartanburg County Detention Facility. This position is cross-trained across multiple operational functions and plays a key role in maintaining smooth, accurate, and secure service delivery.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities Pull and prepare inmate commissary orders Receive, label, and stock inbound product Unload and load trucks as needed Restock and service vending machines throughout the facility Deliver commissary orders to inmates following all security protocols Maintain accurate inventory and operational records Use MSC's custom software to track issues and run reports Assist with basic IT tasks (equipment setup, simple troubleshooting) Provide backup support when onsite commissary staff are unavailable Communicate effectively with facility staff and MSC leadership Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and detention facility regulations Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Warehouse, operations, vending, commissary, or customer service experience preferred Clear background required Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Basic math skills and inventory awareness Comfortable working inside a detention facility Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift Reliable, punctual attendance on scheduled workdays Compensation Competitive part-time hourly rate of $18.00
