Now hiring for 2 part-time positions for an RCA (Rural Carrier Associate) working 3 days a week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday or Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with Sunday and all federal holidays off. This is not a full-time position and will work great for retirees or anyone wanting to make extra money. This is a part-time job that could be long term for the right person. What we are looking for someone 1. who can learn quickly. 2. with delivery experience for UPS, FedEx, or USPS. 3. who can drive a right-hand vehicle. 4. with a valid driver's license. 5. who can lift 70lbs. 6. who can use a scanner and owns a smart phone. 7. who can case and sort mail. 8. who can follow a route and deliver packages. 9. who's able to work in inclement weather. 10. who is dependable and has excellent customer service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Sorts and case mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route. 2. Loads packages in delivery sequence in vehicle. 3. Delivers mail and packages to customers along a prescribed route by vehicle; collects receipts for accountable mail; picks mail from customers' roadside boxes. 4. Records routine information concerning postal matters to customers and mail clerks. 5. Returns mail collected, undeliverable mail, and submits monies and receipts to post office. 6. Prepares appropriate time records. 7. Always provide security for mail. Desirable candidates will have reliable transportation, have a high school diploma, or equivalent, be able to pass a background check and drug test. One week of paid training will be provided. The preferred candidate will live within a 10-mile radius. Please note that this position may require working in various weather conditions. The ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record is essential.
