Document Service Associate II Job Description The Document Service Associate II supports efficient document servicing operations by handling multiple workflows, processing high volumes of inbound and outbound mail, and ensuring insurance-related documents are accurately opened, sorted, scanned, and distributed within internal systems. This role plays a key part in meeting service level agreements and maintaining high-quality standards in document processing. Responsibilities Process inbound and outbound mail quickly and accurately to support the achievement of service level agreements. Open incoming insurance-related mail using industrial equipment and manually remove contents from envelopes. Sort incoming documentation for scanning, ensuring documents are organized and prepared according to established procedures. Review and sort individual documents, add separator sheets, and operate scanning equipment to capture mailed documentation into internal systems. Manage time-sensitive, complex, or critical documents with close attention to detail and adherence to processing guidelines. Handle outgoing documentation by processing high volumes of metered mail and preparing overnight packages. Ensure correct postage is applied to all outgoing mail and update records to reflect processed items. Assist with quality checks to verify accuracy and completeness of scanned and processed documents. Resolve minor processing issues and escalate more complex problems when necessary to maintain workflow continuity. Provide advice and guidance to peers to support team performance and knowledge sharing. Participate in cross-training to develop and enhance document servicing skills and knowledge across multiple workflows. Essential Skills High school diploma (HS Diploma). Experience with filing and general clerical tasks. Ability to operate scanning equipment and follow scanning procedures accurately. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong attention to detail when handling time-sensitive, complex, or critical documents. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume mail processing environment. Capability to use industrial equipment for opening envelopes safely and effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications Willingness to participate in cross-training and learn multiple document servicing workflows. Strong organizational skills to manage large volumes of inbound and outbound documentation. Effective communication skills to provide guidance and support to peers. Problem-solving skills to address minor processing issues and maintain smooth operations. Interest in gaining work experience within a reputable, large-scale organization. Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The position is based in a document servicing and mail operations environment that utilizes industrial equipment for opening envelopes and scanning devices for capturing documentation into internal systems. The work involves handling high volumes of insurance-related mail, both inbound and outbound, in a structured, process-driven setting. Team members collaborate to meet service level agreements, perform quality checks, and support one another through cross-training and shared expertise. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Coppell, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
