Responsibilities Sort incoming mail using automatic inserting machines, RF scanners, and manual techniques to ensure proper categorization. Operate warehouse materials handling equipment such as forklifts for load and unload tasks, adhering to safety protocols. Perform shipment sorting and prepare outgoing mail for delivery or dispatch, maintaining accuracy in data entry and filing. Assist with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, material handling, and organization of mail processing areas. Conduct manual handling of heavy packages and perform outdoor work as needed during outdoor work shifts. Use Microsoft Office tools for record keeping, data entry, and documentation of shipment logs or inventory reports. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety standards related to warehouse distribution and materials handling. Experience Prior warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, and materials handling is highly preferred. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or RF scanners is a strong advantage. Knowledge of mail distribution processes, automatic inserting machines, and heavy lifting techniques is beneficial. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working outdoors or in outdoor work environments adds value to your application. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments are essential. Customer service orientation with the ability to handle data entry accurately and support team collaboration.
