$18.00/hour Position Overview We are looking for 2 Temporary Warehouse Sorters for 4-6 weeks. Sorters will be responsible for opening packages as they come through the facility, determining their final destination, and sorting them accordingly. This is a fast-paced, physically active position that requires employees to remain on their feet throughout the shift and perform repetitive tasks. Employees should be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and following instructions accurately. Job Responsibilities Open packages as they move through the facility. Review package information to determine the correct final destination. Sort packages according to their designated destination or process. Perform light keyboarding and data-entry tasks as needed. Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Remain attentive to package information and sorting requirements. Follow all safety procedures and instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work cooperatively with other team members to keep packages moving efficiently. Qualifications Ability to stand and remain active throughout the shift. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks. Ability to accurately read and interpret basic package information. Basic computer and keyboarding skills. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or sorting experience is preferred but not required. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Basic English communication skills preferred. Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality. Must successfully pass a background check. Dress Code Employees should wear comfortable, durable clothing that allows for easy movement, including: Jeans or work pants Sturdy, closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles Comfortable clothing appropriate for physical work and warm warehouse conditions Do not wear loose jewelry or accessories that could create a safety hazard.
