Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and carts Drive assigned routes efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery schedules and ensuring customer satisfaction Manually handle heavy or bulky items with proper lifting practices to prevent injury and damage Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route information, and communicate with dispatch teams Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and material handling tasks Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly desirable Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or courier services Experience operating commercial trucks or vans with manual transmissions is a plus Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures in a workplace setting Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to traffic laws is essential Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks safely and effectively Strong communication skills for using mobile devices and interacting courteously with customers and team members This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and enjoy providing exceptional service.
