Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides support in the Mailroom attached to the Marketing Services Department at the Menards Corporate Office. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with daily mailroom operations, including operating mail-sorting equipment, preparing outgoing bulk mail, and ensuring mail is processed accurately and efficiently. This position will also be cross-trained to operate automated scanning equipment used to enter names, addresses, and other information into Menards systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficiently operate mail-sorting machinery and process outgoing bulk mail. Sort, stack, and prepare outgoing mail according to postal standards and deadlines. Organize outgoing bulk mail and ensure proper mail tray preparation. Band mail trays and shrink-wrap pallets to ensure materials are secure for transit. Safely operate a pallet jack to move materials and organize the work area. Handle pallets, mail trays, and bulk mail containers throughout the shift. Identify and resolve basic equipment issues to keep mail-processing machinery running efficiently. Assist with paper recycling and maintaining an organized work area. Cross-train and assist with automated document-processing tasks as needed. Operate and monitor automated scanning equipment used to enter names and addresses into Menards systems. Assist in other areas of the department based on workload and business needs. Maintain a professional attitude and work efficiently during periods of high mail volume.
