Job Description

At Arctic Chiropractic, we take pride in creating an upbeat and pleasant work environment where both our team members and patients feel welcomed and supported. Our office is looking for an outgoing, willing, and self-motivated individual to add to our team. When taking on the role of being one of our front desk receptionists, you are the first interaction that the patient experiences at Arctic Chiropractic, whether that be over the phone or in person. Remember to have a positive attitude and respond professionally, no matter the situation.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting and checking in patients with a positive attitude Answering multiple phone lines politely and professionally Scheduling appointments for our patients Being dependable, showing up to work as scheduled, and communicating effectively with management about any planned or unplanned events Coordinating and communicating schedules with coworkers Understanding insurance basics and the ability to explain insurance coverage Collecting payments in person or over the phone Discussing balances with patients respectfully in person or over the phone Processing multiple types of faxes and referrals Setting up patients on equipment with provider direction Assisting providers in demonstrating exercises for patients Inputting sensitive patient information and documentation Calling other offices or providers for clarification on confidential matters Cleaning around the office and doing laundry Managing multiple calendars for staff Applicant must have the following qualifications: Works well and gets along with others Excellent customer service skills Thrives in a fast-paced environment Be a positive contributor and teammate to the clinic Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines Willingness to grow with our team Schedule permits working Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm and some flexibility (coverage) for Saturdays from 10am to 2pm
Experience:
Customer service experience ( required ) Medical experience (example - education or previous employment) ( preferred but not required ) Previous front desk experience ( preferred but not required )
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent ( required ) Please bring your resume to the office after applying.
