Job Description

Veterinary Receptionist - FULL-TIME Are you passionate about animals and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment? Auburn Oaks Animal Clinic in north Auburn is looking for a dedicated Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice and a key part of our compassionate team.
What We're Looking For:
Professional and polished in appearance and demeanor Clear and confident communicator, both in person and in writing Good typing and spelling skills Solid knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology; eager to learn and grow in the field of animal care Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic work environment Detail-oriented, reliable and responsible, with a strong work ethic Physically capable of handling large dogs and lifting up to 40 pounds
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting and assisting clients Answering phone calls, answering questions, and scheduling appointments Assisting clients with medication pick-up and basic prescription filling Maintaining a clean and organized reception area Managing front desk traffic flow with efficiency and warmth Assisting techs as needed Communicating professionally in person and via text/email
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay: $14-$18, based on experience
Schedule:
25-40 hours per week, with one day off per week
Benefits:
Insurance benefits and PTO offered for full-time employees.
Hours:
M-F 7:45-6:00 pm. Must be able to work Monday mornings and all day Friday
