Veterinary Receptionist - Join Our Award-Winning Team! Are you passionate about pets, people, and providing an exceptional client experience? We're looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team! We are an established veterinary hospital in the Huntsville area, going into our third year of business , and we are proud to have been voted Best Veterinarian in Huntsville for all three years we've been open! As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to grow right along with us. We believe in creating a workplace where our team works together, supports one another, and takes pride in providing high-quality care to our patients and their families. What You'll Do:
Greet clients and their pets warmly and provide an exceptional client experience. Answer incoming phone calls, assist clients with questions, and route calls appropriately. Schedule appointments and coordinate veterinarian schedules. Check clients in and out while ensuring information is accurate and complete. Communicate with clients regarding hospital policies, procedures, services, and recommendations. Serve as a liaison between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and other team members. Maintain accurate client and patient records. Handle client concerns professionally and help find solutions when needed. Maintain client confidentiality and follow all hospital policies and procedures. Assist with keeping the front desk and reception area organized, clean, and welcoming. Cross-train in other areas of the hospital as needed to help support the team.What We're Looking For:
Previous veterinary receptionist or veterinary hospital experience is preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Comfortable answering multiple phone calls and managing a busy front desk. Ability to multitask while remaining organized and attentive to detail. A positive, team-oriented attitude. Dependability and punctuality are extremely important. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Someone who genuinely enjoys working with both people and animals. Willingness to learn new systems, procedures, and areas of the hospital. Urgent Care Once fully trained, this position may be transferred to our Urgent Care services , which operate: Thursday-Saturday | 8:00 AM-8:00 PM Why Join Us?
