Receptionist/Support Staff About Us:
Blair & Stroud in Batesville, Arkansas is seeking a receptionist to join its staff. Blair & Stroud is a full-service law firm based in Batesville, Arkansas, founded in 1982. We represent individuals and businesses in a wide variety of legal matters.
Role:
This position will work closely with the attorneys as we serve our clients in a professional, fast-paced environment. In addition to greeting potential clients, current clients, and answering the phones, this person would have the opportunity to work closely within the practice, assisting the lawyers on legal tasks. At Blair & Stroud, confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism are fundamental to our practice. We are looking for a dependable, professional individual.
Key Responsibilities:
Confidentiality, answering phones professionally, taking messages, & running errands Assisting with filing documents with courts, communicating with clients and court personnel, assisting with office filing, and working with our staff to serve our client's needs Provide administrative support to attorneys. Manage file organization and maintain accurate digital and physical records. Handle telephone communications and client inquiries with professionalism. Utilize computers for word processing, drafting correspondence, and office tasks. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters within the law firm.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous office or clerical work is preferred, but not required.
Professionalism:
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor in an office setting.
Education:
High school degree or equivalent is required. A two-year or four-year college degree is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with computers, typing, and word processing is essential.
Compensation:
Full time, consistent 40 hour/week schedule Paid time off and paid holidays after probationary period Interested persons should submit a résumé for consideration.
