Join us today, and experience a career well lived. Office Coordinator/ Receptionist Do you want to work in a dynamic work environment where no day is ever the same as the next? In this Receptionist role, you will the front desk of the therapy facility, handling patient check-in, scheduling, monthly insurance verifications, and providing a welcoming environment for children, adults, and families.
Pay:
$17 - $22 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients and families warmly, assist with registration, and ensure a child-friendly, professional environment
Scheduling and Appointments:
Schedule ongoing therapy visits, follow-ups, and manage phone and in-person appointment requests.
Insurance and Billing:
Verify Insurance Eligibility Monthly, collect co-pays, handle billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records.
Medical Records Management:
Update patient demographics, scan and link documents and maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Front Desk Operations:
Answer and route phone calls, manage office supplies, maintain a clean waiting area, and support clinical staff with administrative tasks.
Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to HIPAA regulations, safety protocols, and clinic policies to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical office procedures or unit secretary courses preferred .
Experience:
1-3 years in a medical office preferred; experience with electronic medical records and appointment scheduling systems is advantageous.
Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skill; ability to work with children and families effectively.
