Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate department or individual
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including photocopying, faxing, and filing
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and claims processing
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, including HIPAA compliance
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with telemarketing efforts to promote products or services
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
