The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression. Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls accurately and courteously. Collect copay, deductibles and balances. Schedule large volume of appointments. Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer support. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall office efficiency. Review patient intake forms and update system as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and health information management. Requirements Proven receptionist experience in a primary/specialist healthcare environment for a minimum of 1 year. Experience with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette to ensure clear and courteous communication. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client needs effectively. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Phreesia or Office Practicum or similar platforms. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10/CPT coding, insurance verification process. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
