Front Office Receptionist / Appointment Coordinator Olson Orthodontics | Litchfield Park, AZ Full-Time | Monday-Thursday $20-$23/hour, depending on experience Join a team that loves what we do—and the people we do it with. Olson Orthodontics is an established, patient-focused orthodontic practice serving families throughout Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Verrado, Buckeye and the West Valley. We're looking for an exceptional Front Office Receptionist / Appointment Coordinator to become part of our team. This is a great position for someone who loves people, brings positive energy to work and thrives in a busy environment . Our front office is the first voice patients hear when they call and one of the first faces they see when they arrive, so we're looking for someone who is naturally warm, friendly and compassionate while also being organized, proactive and able to keep things moving when the office gets busy. Orthodontic or dental experience is not required. We can teach orthodontics and our computer systems. We're much more interested in finding the right person with excellent character, a strong work ethic, great communication skills and the ability and desire to learn. Responsibilities include:
Welcoming and assisting patients and parents Answering and managing incoming phone calls Scheduling and coordinating orthodontic appointments Helping maintain an efficient patient schedule Communicating with patients and families by phone, text and email Checking patients in and assisting with front-office workflow Verifying patient insurance and benefits Learning and using our orthodontic practice-management and communication systems Anticipating scheduling and patient-service needs Helping solve problems as they arise Supporting teammates wherever needed Helping keep our front office organized, productive and welcoming Experience At least two years of professional work experience preferred Previous orthodontic or dental experience is welcome but not required Experience in medical offices, hospitality, customer service, reception, scheduling or other people-focused positions can translate very well to this role Strong communication skills and comfort using computers are important We believe skills can be taught.
