Full Job Description Front Desk Receptionist Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the welcoming face of the company, warmly greeting clients and visitors while serving as the first point of contact. In this role, you will foster a positive and professional environment by managing phone calls, assisting with visitor check-ins, and handling essential administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. You will also act as a liaison for clients, advocating for their needs while upholding the company's policies and procedures.
Duties:
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers. Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing. Address inquiries and resolve client issues promptly and courteously. Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping. Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable. Coordinate appointments and maintain staff calendars. Handle mail, sorting and distributing incoming items while preparing outgoing mail. Assist clients with basic inquiries, document drop-offs, and form submissions. Stay knowledgeable about the company's services to provide accurate information to visitors and clients.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Professional demeanor and excellent customer service abilities. Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information. Familiarity with basic accounting or financial terminology is a plus but not required.
