Full-Time Closing Receptionist Join Our Veterinary Team! We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Full-Time Closing Receptionist to become an essential part of our veterinary clinic team. This is a Monday through Friday closing shift position. Our front desk is the heart of our hospital. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and has a genuine passion for providing exceptional care to both our clients and their beloved pets. Qualifications Prior receptionist experience is required. Veterinary reception experience is strongly preferred. Must be available to work full-time, Monday through Friday , during our closing shift. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently. Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume, and sometimes emotionally challenging environment. Professional, dependable, and able to remain calm under pressure. Comfortable interacting with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Proficient with computers and able to learn veterinary software quickly. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate understands that every interaction matters. You'll be greeting clients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments, coordinating with our medical team, and helping ensure our clinic runs smoothly. This role requires someone who can think on their feet, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and maintain a positive, compassionate attitude. Above all, a genuine love for animals is essential. We are looking for someone who understands that our patients are family members, and who is committed to treating every pet and every client with kindness, respect, and empathy. Responsibilities Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism. Answer multi-line phones and manage appointment scheduling. Check patients in and out efficiently. Process payments and maintain accurate records. Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and fellow team members. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
