About DSP At Developmental Specialty Partners (DSP Health), we provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Speech Therapy, and Child Psychiatry services through a collaborative, multidisciplinary care model. We deliver individualized, high-quality care while creating a supportive environment where team members can grow, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. Role Overview We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for children and families visiting our San Luis Obispo clinic. This role supports the day-to-day operations of our front desk and clinic environment while helping create a warm, welcoming, and organized experience for families receiving care at DSP. The Receptionist will interact regularly with children, families, and team members and will play an important role in maintaining an efficient and child-centered clinic environment.
Location:
San Luis Obispo, CA Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-6:00 PM Responsibilities Greet children, families, and visitors with professionalism and warmth Manage front desk operations, including answering phones and responding to inquiries Facilitate and lead daily Circle Time by announcing session start, playing music, and engaging children in a friendly and encouraging manner Complete administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, and organizing medical records Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and clinic Support the team in maintaining a safe, efficient, and child-centered clinic environment Follow clinic procedures and assist with daily administrative and operational needs Communicate effectively with families and team members as needed
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Fluent in English and Spanish Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, customer service, or similar role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, professional, and proactive approach to work Comfortable using Google Workspace Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit, stand, and run as needed Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check (Livescan

Preferred:
