Job Description
Seeking an experienced bilingual front office person. Needs to be comfortable in the medical space, bonus if you have worked in a hearing aid office. Will work with telehealth and providers from other locations. Please let me know in your submission why you would enjoy working to help people hear better. You need to be organized and be able to deal with senior citizens and a fast paced environment. California Hearing Center, a private hearing aid and audiology practice is looking for > an energetic and motivated individual to greet patients, accept incoming > calls, and call existing patients and schedule appointments for upkeep > and maintenance on their hearing instruments. > >
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO
> >- Front desk receptionist, greet incoming patients. >
- Accept incoming calls to schedule appointments for new and > existing patients >
- Prepare and mail out new patient packets >
- Prepare and mail out batteries to patients >
- Make outgoing calls to existing patients to schedule appointments > for repairs, delivery of new hearing aids. >
- Assist with checking in new orders for delivery. >
- clean and sterilize instruments.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
> >- High School Diploma or higher required. >
- 1-2 years receptionist experience helpful. Familiarity with insurance > billing is helpful. >
- Must have basic understating of computers and be internet savvy. >
- Must be able to work well independently > > > The ideal candidate will also possess: > >
- Patience and have great listening skills. >
- Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service > with a positive attitude. >
- Strong organizational skills. >
- Excellent verbal and writing skills. >
- A desire to work with hearing impaired individuals and their families.
