Receptionist JTS Construction - 2.4 Bakersfield, CA Job Details Temporary | Full-time $18.00 - $19.50 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Filing English Scanning Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Receptionist Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our employees, customers, vendors, and visitors. The ideal candidate is confident, approachable, organized, and has a "see it and handle it" attitude . This position requires someone who can manage the front desk while also recognizing when the office is busy and proactively jumping in to assist the team. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors, employees, vendors, and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Answer, screen, and route incoming telephone calls. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area. Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries. Assist with filing, scanning, copying, data entry, and other general administrative duties. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Recognize when additional assistance is needed and proactively offer support. Maintain confidentiality when handling employee, customer, and Company information. Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and general office equipment. Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
