Castaic Canine Camp is looking for Kennel Attendants to work at our boarding and daycare facility. Our facility is mostly outsdide so the majority of your shift you will working outside rain or shine.

7:30AM-7:00PM We are looking for a Kennel Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and healthiness of our animals, with excellent communication skills, a passion for animals. The Kennel Attendant will be responsible for... Cleaning (yards, kennels, crates, bedding, bowls, buckets, and play pools) Feeding Administering medication Bathing Restraining dogs Assisting clients during pick up and drop offs Socializing play groups Assisting with adoptions Maintain animal health records Keep accurate reports of animals in care. Work alone or with other employees as a team member Check dogs in and out using our booking software Book/edit clients reservations Respond to emails and messages from clients
Requirements:
Must be 18 years old or older Have professional experience working with dogs. Be able to lift 50lbs (dog food, dogs, dumping water buckets/ play pools, dumping trashing dumper, etc.) Be able to walk long distances outside on uneven terrain (property is 7 acres on steep incline) Be able to work with all types of dogs (small, medium, large, giant, young, old, shy, scared, aggressive, etc.) Have a valid driver's license and have a car or stable for transportation (we are not located near any public transport.) Be able to work on Saturdays or Sundays Be able to work on most major holidays. Be comfortable handling snakes.
