Job Description
Solar Atmospheres of San Diego is a leader in providing vacuum heat treating and brazing services of the highest possible quality to the power generation, aerospace, and medical markets. We are currently looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our busy office in El Cajon, CA. The ideal candidate should be reliable with a good work ethic, willingness to learn and proficient with email. Prior exposure to a business office environment and general office/receptionist duties is preferred. We are seeking an individual that possesses good organizational skills, professional demeanor, attention to detail and is willing to grow as position expands. Responsibilities Answer multi-line switchboard and accurately distribute incoming calls to the appropriate personnel. Professionally greet and check-in customers, suppliers and guests who visit Solar Atmospheres. Assist with scheduling and coordinating customer/supplier meetings or corporate events as needed. Open, sort and distribute incoming mail and forward materials to other facilities. Create, enter, and issue purchase orders to suppliers for approved office and manufacturing purchases. Process and assemble paperwork (requisitions, purchase orders, packing lists, invoices, etc.) for received goods and services. Contact suppliers to expedite and inquire about the delivery of goods and services as needed. Complete general office clerical duties which include scanning, copying, filing, collating, etc. Be willing and able to assist in special projects and company events as needed. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2 years' general administrative or business office experience preferred Knowledge of basic business office functions, practices, and procedures Reliable, organized and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to make good judgement decisions Ability to maintain good attendance Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) We offer a friendly work environment, plus a good benefits package.
