Availability:
Open availability required, including weekends and all holidays Ideal Candidate This is a dynamic, dual-role position for an exceptional multitasker—someone who can manage a busy front desk while providing hands-on care to our four-legged guests. This person will be essential to our daily operations, ensuring that both pets and their parents experience the ACPR standard of excellence from the moment they walk through our doors. Has previous experience in animal care and customer service Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills Has experience with dog daycare, pet boarding, pet sitting, dog walking, grooming, handling, or training Possesses knowledge of animal behavior and safe animal-handling practices Is dependable, professional, organized, and comfortable multitasking Can remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment Is comfortable working independently and as part of a team Has front desk experience; staff management experience is a plus Understands that exceptional care includes both pets and their parents Core Responsibilities Welcome clients and provide friendly, knowledgeable service Answer phones, respond to inquiries, schedule services, and process payments Manage check-ins and check-outs for daycare and boarding guests Communicate clearly with pet parents regarding reservations, services, and pet needs Provide hands-on care, supervision, feeding, exercise, and enrichment for dogs Maintain clean, safe, and organized kennel and guest areas Monitor pet behavior and well-being, reporting concerns promptly Follow resort policies, safety procedures, and individualized care instructions Support daily operations by smoothly transitioning between front desk and kennel responsibilities What We Offer Competitive pay of $18-$22 per hour, based on experience and performance Full-time hours with varied shift opportunities A rewarding, hands-on role working with dogs and their families The opportunity to grow with a respected, family-owned pet resort
Pay:
