Front Desk Receptionist

We are looking for Front Desk Receptionists! At The Animal Keeper, we have been the trusted leader in specialized pet care and pet boarding in San Diego since 1979. We provide a wide range of services, including boarding, daycare, grooming, and training. Our mission is to offer top-notch pet care in a safe, clean, and loving environment. Are you a friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic individual who loves animals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist at The Animal Keeper. As a receptionist, you'll be the face of our business, responsible for creating a positive first impression for our furry clients and their owners. Your role will involve selling our services and retail and handling a fast-paced environment with phones ringing and clients walking in simultaneously. This position can be especially dynamic during holidays when pet owners are going on vacation. We will provide comprehensive training to ensure you excel in the following duties: Speaking about our services and retail products to clients. Booking appointments using our "Atlantis" software. Answering phones and making calls to schedule appointments and provide information. Processing payments accurately and efficiently. Assisting with cleaning and housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. We are looking for individuals who meet the following requirements: Proficiency with Windows and basic computer knowledge. Previous customer service experience. Reliable transportation to and from work. Comfortably working around dogs, cats, birds, and pocket pets. Willingness to assist with cleaning up after pets. Ability to effectively upsell services and relay information about our offerings to clients. Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and all holidays.

Experience in the animal care industry is a plus but not required.
