Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team. This role is essential in managing client communications, coordinating patient intake, and supporting our medical staff in a dynamic emergency setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and patients with professionalism and empathy in high-stress situations Answer multi-line phone systems and triage calls appropriately Accurately enter and maintain patient records Process payments and handle financial transactions Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff Provide clear information and updates to clients regarding wait times and procedures Maintain a clean, organized reception area

Qualifications:

Required:

Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Familiarity with veterinary terminology and medical records systems Experience handling both small animals and exotic species is highly preferred Proficient with computers and multi-line phone systems Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
