Job Description

Seeking a friendly, energetic, organized, and detailed oriented person with excellent communication skills for an optometric practice in our Castro Valley and Fremont office. Some tasks would include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering a multi-line phone, provide information, processing patient forms, entering patient data, verifying insurance eligibility, processing insurance claims, selecting frames for patients, ordering contact lenses/glasses for patients and other office functions. Experience is helpful but we will train the right person. Long-term commitment preferred.
The individual must be:
Positive and outgoing personality Dependable and punctual Enjoys working with the public Honest/Trustworthy Efficient and Productive with multitasking Professional demeanor Good computer skills, 55 WPM minimum Excellent phone skills 2+ years of college work Non-smoking Available Saturdays 5 year minimum working in an office environment or in high-end sales Bilingual skills are also a plus. Three or more years working in an optometrist office would also be helpful, but not required.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
