Grover Beach, CA — in person Beacon Clinic of Chiropractic is looking for an energetic, organized, and genuinely friendly person to join our team as a part-time receptionist. We are a busy, established family chiropractic office serving patients throughout the Five Cities and San Luis Obispo County. Our practice sees patients of all ages, including a significant number of families, children, and pregnant patients. We take our work seriously, but we also want our office to be a warm, positive, and enjoyable place for both our patients and our team. This is not a quiet front desk position. Our ideal candidate enjoys people, can comfortably manage several things happening at once, and brings a calm, upbeat presence to a busy office. What You'll Do You'll be one of the first people our patients interact with and an important part of keeping the office running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

Greeting and checking patients in and out Answering phones, texts, and patient questions Scheduling and rescheduling appointments Managing a busy appointment schedule Collecting payments and accurately handling financial transactions Maintaining accurate patient information Communicating with patients regarding appointments and office procedures Keeping the front desk and reception areas organized and welcoming Assisting the doctor and other team members with day-to-day office needs Providing excellent customer service even when the office gets busy Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Warm, outgoing, and comfortable talking with people Exceptionally dependable and punctual Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable with computers and able to learn new software quickly Able to multitask without becoming flustered Confident answering phones and communicating professionally Comfortable interacting with babies, children, pregnant patients, and families Able to take initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs to be done A strong team player who is willing to jump in and help Interested in health, wellness, and helping people Previous chiropractic, medical, dental, hospitality, or other high-volume customer service experience is a plus, but chiropractic experience is not required . We are willing to train the right person. Schedule This is a part-time position averaging approximately 21 hours per week . Reliable availability during scheduled clinic hours is essential.
