Job Description

Robert Half's non-profit client in Hayward, CA is in need of a short-term temporary bilingual Spanish/English receptionist. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
Receptionist Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Welcome visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and provide basic programinformation.
  • Receive, process, distribute, and maintain incoming and outgoing mail, clientdocuments, and office forms.
  • Maintain reception, client meeting areas, and resource displays in a clean,organized, and welcoming condition.
  • Coordinate conference room reservations and prepare office closure notices.
  • Order, maintain, and track office and break room supplies.
  • Process invoices, check requests, petty cash transactions, and monthly postageand petty cash reports.
  • Provide clerical support, including scanning, printing, and document preparation.
  • Assist with client appointments and packet distribution.
  • Handle confidential client and agency information with discretion and maintaindata security.
  • Support agency operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Summary:
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • One to two years of receptionist or customer service experience.
  • Bilingual Spanish (spoken and written) required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to type 50 WPM.
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools (e.
g., Copilot) and design platforms (e.g., Canva).
